how much protein can you absorb?

i want to get my protein up to 350g a day but was wondering how much you can absorb at one time. i know everybody is different but how much for a guy that is 210lbs and works out regular and not on a cycle. i've heard 40g every two hours but wasn't sure.

40g every 2 hours sounds good your body can absorb more but it will only do this after time.Stick to what you have decided it will yield good results

The absorbtion rate of protein varies from person to person and its hard to assign an arbitrary number to exactly how much you can utilize per sitting, but going at 1.5g per lb of bodyweight will be fine, the main thing is to make sure you spread it out during the day, do that and you'll be well on your way.

Increase slowly...say you're taking in 200g right now...well increase it to 250g for one week, then go to 300g for a week or two, then you're at your goal of 350g in one month! Good luck!
