CKD Diets and the 'Metabolic Shift'

Everything i've read about Ketogenic diets in general talk about that 'induction' phase, where most people feel lethargic, out of it, weak, hard to concentrate, etc. After a few weeks in Ketosis (after the metabolic shift occurs), these feelings are supposed to give way to a newly found energy and feeling of well being.

With a diet like Atkins for instance, there is a 2 week strict no carb phase which is supposed to get you through this process.

On a CKD diet, since you're doing a carb load every 5 days (assuming you're following that type of schedule), are you ever able to get past this initial stage of feeling crappy? Or is it like starting over again every Monday?

I've felt pretty crappy all week long, and have been noticably weaker (I expected all of this), so am obviously looking forward to my carb up - but will I be going through this same process over and over week after week, or does the body adjust/shift at some point despite the refeeds?

On a CKD there should be a 14 day adjustment phase before your first load. for the first week i felt pretty shitty, stomach issues, tired, headaches even a fever. Into the second week and after i felt better than i ever have before. Full of energy and light on my feet. but during my carb loads id almost feel like shit again it goes opposite, but i think i may have over done it on the carbs. its trial and error.

Keep lifting / low HR cardio and I am feeling fine.

Makes sense to me, but nothing i've read so far about CKD suggest this.

On another note, I had my first carb up meal, feeling pretty good right now:

1 double oat and honey bagel - 50g carbs
2 eggs and 1 egg white
    16oz skim milk
1 serving Kashi Go Lean Crunch Honey Almond Flax Cereal - 30g carbs

Next meal is in an hour and a half... what to eat, what to eat..
