    protein questions

    I have been trying to get my diet in check and was reading that your body can only assimilate 30grms of protein per meal. if that is the case and i am only able to eat a maximum of four times a day then there is no way to get the appropriate protein inorder to grow. if my body can only use 30grms per sitting then taking extra calories via a mass gainer wouldnt really help much right?

    my meals contain good quality carbs and lots of protein

    meal one: 6:00am
    24 grm whey shake
    animal vita pack
    15grms bcaa

    meal two 7:30 am
    4-6 eggs
    1 cup of oats
    orange

    meal three 10:30am
    peanutbutter sandwich on whole wheat bread
    bannana

    meal four 2:00pm
    two chicken breasts
    brown rice
    broccoli or asparagus

    pre workout
    24 grms whey
    bcaa 15grms

    workout
    no shotgun and bcaa 15grms
    krealkoline
    24grms whey post workout

    meal five
    rice
    vegetable
    tuna steaks

    bed time snack
    casein protein shake 25 grms
    cottage cheese 1 serving

    im no expert but what you have laid out doesnt seem all that bad. btw i have read that some on this forum believe that 30gr/meal is bunk info

    1. what you heard about protein is incorrect, along with all of the information made to the general public on dieting.
    2. your meals are not good at all. Maybe you made the diet going off of the 30grams at a time thing. either way you need a whole food protein source and carbs or fat in every meal.
