    Question on BF

I dont have calipers nor does my gym offer a BF measurement,, so i found an online site that does it according to some measurements and height weigh, it came back with a YMCA method and a NAVY result, it claims they are with in 1% accurate,,, anytruth to that, and what is the difference between the 2

Using your measurements of a 39 inches waist and weight of 222 pounds your body fat percentage is estimated to be 27.25 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 25.98 % using the formula developed by the YMCA.

Neither method is as accurate as a water displacement test, but is usually within 1-3% for most people.

thats wat i got they actually used 4 different measuments (waist at thinnest. waist at navel, hips, neck

I would never use any method of measuring bodyfat which relies on the bodypart circumferences.

    todays update

Using your measurements of a 38 inches waist and weight of 219 pounds your body fat percentage is estimated to be 22.43 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 20.76 % using the formula developed by the YMCA.

im happy with those numbers,,, hope to keep it going down

another question,, if i order the calipers are they fairly easy to use or not really

The calipers are very easy to use. Getting good at knowing exacty where to pinch and how to pull fat from a site takes practice.
