I don't really know of any foods that burn fat, since mostly you will be intaking calories when consuming food. However, I've heard green tea is good for burning fat, also a cup of coffee a day is helpful in burning fat, the caffeine helps I believe.

I'm just gonna spit out some info as generally as possible:
    1) certain fibrous vegetables, such as celery, actually require more calories to digest than they actually provide, creating a negatice caloric impact. Add to this the vitamins and minerals and you can see why celery with some healthy condiments (pb, cottage cheese) would be far more diet conscious than on a cracker or bread.
    2) food high in fibre will prevent a portion of the foods calories from being absorbed, or in the case of fruit, prevent the fructose from being absorbed as quickly, impacting blood sugar less..
3)capsacin (the burning substance in peppers) will raise met/burn fat. Spicy foods tend to be lard ridden though. A healthier option would be using a cayenne pepper rub on your fish or chicken
    4) dairy products have been shown to decrease abdominal fats. Add to that the probiotics of cultured yogurts and cheeses and you have a good combo (not to mention the great dose of slow protien and testosterone producing sat fats)
    5) teas, white, green, black, in order of effectiveness, will somewhat aid in fat loss. Brewing whole leaf is far better than bagged.
    6) coffee, not tripple mocha, double fat latte carmel drizzle, just plain ol coffee

What makes you think a food can stimulate the breakdown of fat? How would this work?
