    Cheat meal

    Is it better to have a cheat meal once every week or only when you have the urge? Ive only been strictly dieting so far for this whole week with abso. no problem whatsoever. Should I still have a cheat meal During the weekend to confuse my body or only if I get the urges?

    Ideally, you shouldn't cheat. If you need it psychologically, go for it but within reason - make sure you don't eat way over your tdee causing new body fat to be stored. I find cheat meals to be the devil because I can't stop at just one and it makes me remember how good so many forbidden foods actually are. It usually results in a cheat day or two and I end up feeling like crap after and eating only liquid egg whites and natural diuretics the following day so that I can feel like myself again.

    Also, if you've only been dieting strictly for a couple weeks, you're body does not need a re-feed. After 6-8 weeks, it may become beneficial in boosting your metabolism but even then, if you have a balanced cutting diet, you'll do just fine without cheating. Not to mention, you'll reach your goal faster.
