    on cutting diet, weight is bouncing around, HELP

    guys, i have been on this cutting diet for almost a month now 3 1/2 weeks id say, and my weight bounces around 212-214, weighted myself last night i was 217, like what the hell........??.... i am taking in on average 2700 cals a day, lower on the carbs, more on the protein and fat, my split now i would say is 50% protein, 30% carbs, 20% fat. I am tring to get to 200, and now it seem like i am never going to get there.

    What should my cardio look like, because right now i am doing cardio 45mins or so every workout, so 5 sometimes 6 days a week, and i burn on average 800-1100, depending how hard i go, but thats the average. I sweat quite a bit, but not winded I can still hold a convo with someone if need be, so is the intensity good enough??

    I am eating 6-7 meals a day, i keep my carb intake higher in the early morning, like breakfast and morning snack, and since i dont do much at work, keep the carb intake lower, pre-workout i have a tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread, to get some carbs in me prior to workout, then dinner and later at night, i keep the complex carbs lower, substituting with fibrous carbs instead.

    i mean, i seem to be doing all the right thing, but the weight as i said goes from 213 to friggan 218 the next day, like how is that possible??? I am taking in about 300g protein a day (which i should be) and about 60g fat.

    my BMR is 2021 and TDEE is 3271.....i am cutting, so 3271-500 = 2751....i am taking in just about that, but yet i dont feel like i am doing something right...


    please advise me guys, i am like getting desperate here. I take in all good foods, for example, April 7, this is what i took in


    2794 cals
    66g fat
    200g carbs
    343g protein

    i assure you, all the food i took in that day were all good, and on average, i am taking this in, so what is my issue here???

    for being on this for almost a month, i dont get why i am bouncing around rather than gradually loose weight

    Your weight can vary up to 5 pounds in a given day depending on a lot of things.

    really? like whats types of things? i thought eating the frequent meals had a thermogenic effect on the body, making you loose weight, but i know there are probably things that effect that during the day, if there anything i can do to minimize this fluctuation during the day?

    Anyone else wanna chime in? lol

    always weigh yourself first thing in the morning...it helps it be more consistent.

    also its only been 3 1/2 weeks...this isnt a miracle diet, give it some time. It sometimes help to take pictures of youself every week...so you can actually see the change

    hey, ya i know but i want to know that if what i am doing based on what i said above is good? should i be getting good results down the road, i appreciate the opinions, so if you guys can tell me if i am doing this correctly, it would greatly help me out. THanks!

    Weigh yourself in the AM after you piss and take pictures. My weight fluctuates by as much as 7 lbs. sometimes based on the day. I eat so clean every day that the occasional high-sodium restaurant meal and a couple pints of diet coke causes a lot of bloat. After some HIT and a clean day, I'll be back down to my normal weight. Also, we drink a ton of water (or at least we should), so based on your urination schedule (lol), you'll see huge fluctuations. I sometimes drink 3-4 pints of water with any given meal - that's 4 lbs!

    lol, ur a pissing machine! ya, so i take it that the weight in the morning after you piss is the most accurate and your actual weight? I never really took into account liquids that i take in, i mean i dont take in as much water as i should, but i DEFINITELY eat clean, and two days ago, i HAD TO get dunkin donuts for BFEST, i was running wicked late, i got two egg white flat bread sandwiches, friggan 1030g sodium!! never again haha.....anyway, thanks Damien, and guy, you made some good points!


    so in the morning, woudl you say that is the most accurate representation of your weight since you havent eaten in probably 8-10 hours? THanks gents!

    I record my weight every day with my routine, and I try to do it at the same time of the day. Food matters, if you have pissed before matters, and your general activity level for that day matters.

    In the morning when you have nothing in your stomach and after you piss is ideal, that will give you the most accurate number.
