soya milk
just had a chat with a random bloke at gym talking about protein shakes and he told me that he mixes his sci-mx hardcore with soya milk to give it an extra kick of protein.....is taking soya milk instead of semi skimmed milk better?

It's really a matter of preference. Both milk and soymilk are sources of some protein. Depending on the brand, soymilk is generally lower in calories, fat, and sugar than milk. I buy a brand that only has one gram of carbs and no sugar. I use soymilk though because I am lactose intolerant, so milk isn't an option for me.

the protein content of the soya milk i have is 9g where as normal semi skimmed is 3.1g not to mention that soya milk is far cheaper than most semi skimmed milks i have seen displayed, also has a longer shelf life till opened, i'm kinda the same when it comes to lactose tolerance with the amount i have to take in, my stomach just gets overloaded and its not long before i'm running for the bathroom...hopefully now i'll stick to this long life soya milk and life maybe a little more rewarding on my body lol
thanx for the input M.I.P

I read a study that indicated that soy caused a decrease in serum test levels....
I think Swifto posted it.............
