Can too much red meat cause negative effects?
Been consuming a 500 gram beef t bone steak with veg as my last meal of the day every day for the last 3-4 weeks now,in that time i've had excellent gains in both strength & size.Which im attributing to the red meat.
I never included alot of red meat in my previous training diets as i got caught up thinking chicken was the only meat protein i needed.
Which leads me too my question if i keep eating this amount of red meat will it cause any negative side effects with my health?
Been told by others that it may cause ailments such as athritis, gout, high cholesterol etc. So i thought i'd find out for sure not just listen to unexperienced people.
(The rest of my daily diet consists of chicken, fish, rice & assorted veg & i eat pretty clean with minimal to no fast foods. Just want to get advice on the red meat).
Thanks
