    Pwo?

    I know most people say to take Post workout nutrition within 15 min of finishing a workout and I usually do but Im about to start doing cardio probably 20-30 min after my weight workout every day. Question is it better to take in the shake and then run ooooor wait until the entire workout is over (after the run) to take the shake.

    I'd rather do option B b/c sometimes a shake doesnt sit well and Its hard to run right after chugging a shake. But Im willing to do what ever is best.

    Your not missing the PWO nutrition window by waiting 20-30 mins till after cardio.

    If I was to take anything in between the weight and cardio sessions, it would be BCAA, shake then after cardio.

    If you workout then you are catabolic, even if you slammed a shake you'd just become catabolic again when you started running. Def go with the BCAAs though as they will prevent muscle breakdown.

    I asked this same question a while back as I have the same routine you do. One of the vets (I think it was Fireguy) assured me that i'd be fine - that some guys have their workout and then do 45-60 minutes of cardio, then the PWO shake. I only do 30 mins of cardio - not sure what you do, but you'll be fine.

    after lifting and before cardio I slam a shake (whey + water only) you dont have to use a lot of water either.I like before cardio. thats just me. i feel my muscles need it asap. im no vet or expert, but this is what i do.

    i sometimes do it toward the end of my lifting.

    I've heard of plenty of people doing this. They slam a shake PWO/pre cardio, then eat a real meal 1-2 hours after cardio.
