Lightbulb My Weight Gaining Diet Plan...Please Review!!

    Stats.
    Age 20
    Height 5'10"
    Weight 140
    BF % 12

I came up with my own weight gaining calculations. My goal is to gain
35 pounds in 7 months. BTW is that even reasonable? I also upped the
calorie intake beacause its hard for me to gain weight.
(Other Notes) Ive been working out constantly for 3 months w/ out a
diet plan and have gained 6 pounds. And the reason i post this is because
I want to start a cycle but thats after 7 months of staying Natrual or if I
see good results i'll probably just end up staying away from Steroids .
Your opinions on this subject are welcome guys, so feel free to reply.

Based on a 5 meal day plan

    Tatal Calories 3240g
    Total Carbs. 416g
    Total Prot. 151g
    Total Fats 108g

    Hello

I dont mean to intrude on your thread, but we seem to be on the same page. I have winstrol , and test, but i am not sure if i want to use it. If the gains are possible and similar without it then id rather hold off.

I'm 5'11" 143lbs, not sure about bf%.. Seeing your stats compared to mine, i can tell you are extremely skinny, and just want to bulk up. I have been in the gym for about 2 months myself, and the gain is slow, but there and i think its due to my diet, well i know. Really just dont eat, kind of starv then binge late at nite.

I mean how many calories are too many. And if you do eat more more more, and work out harder/longer wouldnt that turn into more muscle gain?
Say if you took your calorie intake from 3000 to 5000.. is 5000 just too much?

Agreed - I think protein is too low, and carbs are too high, even for a weight gaining diet. I'd start with bringing protein up to 200g and carbs down to about 350g.

Just randomising your calroic intake isn't going to work. You need to work out your BMR and then factor in your energy expenditure.
To Mass gain it's generally accepted that eating 500kl over your maintenence level will lead to 1lb increase in weight each week (3500kl is required to maintain 1lb of body fat) hence 500lk negative energy balance each day works out to 3500kl per week. Losing much more weight per week will generally just be water or worse muscle mass.
And more isn't always better, if your body needs 3000kl to maintain eating 4000kl+ is likely to just lead to fat gain, 500kl increase dailly in the correct Protein/Carb/Fat ratio over maintenence will lead to steady gains in weight.
Anyways head over to the diet section here and read the stickys!
