Can anyone help me with a good diet?
Hey everyone!
I have been researching on a good diet and have a pretty good Idea on what to do but just want to run it by you guys and see what you all think and if this is right or not... heres some stats
age: 27
height: 5'11
weight: 220-225
bf%: not sure
training exp: been very athletic my whole life... but just recovered from back injury and only been working out for last 6 months.
cycle exp: right now taking Windstrol.. says 50 on the pill.. dont know much about roids... just want to cut as much as possible.
My main goal is to get BIG... I want to be my current weight right now with as much lean muscle as possible without this belly I have and man tits. Looks like I did Roids when I never have. I have a good 30 days of Dbol but I have been told not to mess with it in these forums until I get the right body fat %. Kind of a bummer! Wondering what would happen If I took these right now how I am now.
Right now I have just gotten back into a diet where I am eating a 1/2 cup of Oatmeal with a little milk in it... and a Bananna. Usually about 2 hours later I am putting a nice salad together with some of the Newmans Light Caesar.. only 75 calories per 3 tbls. I then drink a Whey Protein Shake after the salad about 2 hours later or try to eat some Meat/Chicken... for dinner I am eating Meat and Vegetables and maybe some brown rice. After a work out I will drink another Protein Shake called True Mass but its loaded with Calories so Im not sure If I should drink it or not. I try to time the True Mass after I workout as well... which right now Im doing about 30-45 minutes cardio, 200-400 crunchs/sit-ups and a minimum of a hour lifting light with lots of reps... About 3 times a week I lift for about 2 hours.
So Im having kind of a hard time loosing weight. My family cooks good old hearty american style meals once a week.. lots of potatoes.. butter and always a rich homemade scratch recipe desert. Am I allowed to eat with them once a week or will that slow my weight loss down?
My whole goal is to basically turn my body fat into muscle... I want to be a solid 220 or even 230 without my belly. Im not really fat at all.. just have a beer belly and kind of thick thighs with some nice little man tits.. and my main goal is to get rid of this excess fat and get to the right weight where I can get on a mean cycle and get ripped. Any help? Thanks!!!! You guys ROCK!Last edited by CanaDan420; 05-21-2010 at 10:46 PM.

I made some comments above in bold. The first thing you need is structure; you should be aiming for 6-8 meals per day, no more than 2.5 - 3 hours apart. Protein in every meal, and not by way of shakes. A whey shake is acceptable PWO, and a casein shake is acceptable right before you hit the pillow at night, but that's it. Everything else should be real food. Go for quality complex carbs for the 1st 2/3rds of the day (brown rice, yam, sweet potato, oats, Quinoa, etc) and switch it up to protein/fat meals in the evening. Eat fiberous veggies (broccoli, asparagus, califlower, spinach, etc) as often as you can.
The most important thing you need to do right now is calculate your TDEE; I don't have the link handy but the search feature is your best friend - you need to know this number to come up with a proper diet, otherwise you're just guessing and winging everything.
Once you have the info and educate yourself a bit more on nutrition, come back here and post up a proper diet with time of day for each meal, and macro info (protein/carb/fat/calories).
Good luck!Last edited by gbrice75; 05-22-2010 at 05:15 AM.
