    diet/weight gainer question

    Hi all,
New to this forum. Just a quick question.

Currently i am 5'10 and weigh about 190 at 10 percent bf. Would i Be able to safely bulk up using 6 star muscle mass gainer 3 times a day in addition to eating breakfast (8 eggwhites/oatmeal/fruit), lunch (8 oz chicken breast 1.5 cups brown rice, veggis) and dinner (same as lunch). Each serving of the mass gainer has about 8 or 900 calories depending on the type of milk i use. Each serving also has about 145 carbs and 45 grams of protein, its very low in sugar as well. Thanks for the info.

real foods > shakes .. figure out your TDEE based on your lean body mass (weight*bf%, weight - calculation =LBM) with the Katch-McArdle formula... then to bulk eat either 20% over your TDEE (TDEE *.2, TDEE + calculation).. <only use if your bf is truly 10% or get it checked...

keep in mind while bulking, an extra 2500 calories above TDEE is one pound of muscle (this was posted to me on this forum)...

in order to correctly achieve anything in dieting ... you have to count your calories and reach intake goals... thus post your diet with its macronutrients (cal/pro/carb/fat) and your TDEE as well.. you'll get much more help that way... but IMO weightgainers are a waste of money..
