    Skipping a meal, unintentionally...

Sometimes I notice that I get really tired after a workout or it gets really late in the day, so I skip my PPWO meal and just have my casein shake before bed (I have a PWO meal - chicken & rice , then PPWO - tilapia & olive oil, then before bed - casein shake & PB).

The meal I skip sometimes is only 260 calories though (a pro/fat meal), so I never viewed it as to detrimental because I don't skip it a lot, but still ... mentally it throws me off because I'm not arriving at my caloric intake goals.

Not sure if you're asking a question here.... but don't beat yourself up. I don't think skipping a 260 calorie meal from time to time will make or break you.

It's not that big of a deal. Just try to start remembering to get some whey after a workout for recovery though! Not detrimental, but important.

lol sorry - I got so involved with telling the story i forgot to ask - is it really that detrimental by skipping 250-300 calorie meal in an intake goal already below maintenance?

And I have recently dropped the whey for pwo nutrition and just have bcaas and twin labs' amino fuel pre&post workout - immeadiately in the gym... then as soon as i get home i have my chicken and white rice pwo meal
