oils for fats?
Does anyone see a problem with frying steak in 1 tbsp of olive oil? I believe olive oil is an EFA?? Just curious....
Thanks.

Olive oil must be ingested raw, if cooked will become cancerogenic.

Frying with a teaspoon or olive oil will give the steak a nice buttery taste and not loaded with the saturated fats of butter of lard. A better choice would be peanut or canola oil as they do not break down at higher temps that is associated with frying, but they do not have the flavor of olive oil.
Or a light spray of olive oil flavored pam is a good choice also.

Grapeseed, coconut, and macadamia nut oils have the highest smoking points and will maintain all of their NV when sauteed with.
Extra virgin olive oil has the lowest. Use it for salad dressings and shakes.
