    Is this Possible

I know this is probably a highly debated subject but I would like some veteran opinions. Is it possible to gain some muscle while losing fat?

I have been working on my diet a lot the last couple days eating 5 to 6 meals a day I have been over 200g protein a day. Eating carbs early in the day cutting carbs as the day goes on eating good fats like fish late in the day. I am feeling very full all day and still end up about 500 calories under my maintenance budget.

So do you think since I am eating pretty clean and getting plenty of protein I can still gain some muscle while losing fat or do I need to eat more calories? If I have to eat more calories it may not be so clean there's only so much tuna and chicken breasts etc.. I can eat.

By the way about how many carbs should I eat a day I am 175 pounds right now.

Sure you can but it takes a lot of dedication and dieting knowledge.
    Also:

    It depends from your age.
If you mean hyperplasia, once you are developed you cannot gain muscle cells anymore, unless you use rHGH.
