    Deli meat?

I'm not too sure, but are those meat/chicken/turkey slices sold at your local deli healthy or NOT (contains too much preservatives) ? If so, can we used that in our diet? A little confused here...

If you must, then yes depending on your goals. But keep it to a limited amount in both cuts and bulks and stay away from the ham. If you want meat, stick to the tried and true.

...what the hell is the 'tried and true' ?
I was thinking about eating several turkey slices to replace steak because i CANNOT eat it.
Would that be a good option?

They're definitely an inferior protein source. I guess they're better than not eating at all, if you can't get something else in a pinch, but otherwise i'd stay away from them. Loaded with sodium and preservatives.

    Smile

Lots of sodium if you must go for low sod.
Then what do you eat it on ? Bread??
    There goes the lunchmeat pal.

    Stick with real meat
    lean beef
    fih
    chix
    turk

    You'll be gtg.

when referring to meat , the "tried and true" are the ones I mentioned.
With the addition of some lean pork, bison, venison.

These "tried and true" meats pack on the muscle.

In the gym the "tried and true" mass builders are bench, squats and deadlifts. I hope this makes sense.

If you don't like steak, don't eat it. Doesn't mean you need to eat processed filth instead.

Well, steak is a protein source so yea, that's what you'd be doing.

As Damien said, if you don't like steak, then don't eat it. There are plenty of clean substitues - chicken, turkey, lean ground beef (do you hate beef in general, or just steaks?), eggs, bison, all types of fish, etc. Definitely no excuse to eat crappy processed food that won't do much but bloat you up.

First off, simmer down with the attitude. Second, replacing steak for turkey slices if the most absurd thing I've heard. You obviously have no idea what those deli meats have in there besides the fact they contain protein, and you really have no idea what other purposes Steak has to offer besides bringing protein to the plate.

The tried and true are what everyone has just mentioned before my post.
