    my diet question

so im doing weight training 4days/week and 3days of cardio during fri, sat, sun

my typical diet for my weight training days are:

    breakfast:
    1scoop whey
    3egg whites and 1 yolk

    snack:
    tuna sandwhich

    lunch:
    white rice,veggies with either chicken,beef,fish

    snack/pre workout:
    1scoop of whey
    tuna sandwhich

    post workout:
    2scoops of whey

    dinner:
    chicken breast+veggies+pita bread or rice+meats+veggies

during my cardio days diet should be simillar but i would lower carbs intake and calorie but maintain high protein intake

my goal is to get lean with good muscle definition

will this diet get me anywhere?

    breakfast:

2 whole eggs, 4-6 whites. How about some complex carbs here? Oats would be ideal

    snack:
    tuna sandwhich

With mayo? What kind of bread? Tuna is great but bread is not an ideal carb source. Try for a more natural whole food - brown rice, sweet potato, yam, quinoa, lentils and beans, etc

    lunch:
    white rice,veggies with either chicken,beef,fish

Good meal except for the white rice. Make it brown rice instead

    snack/pre workout:
    1scoop of whey
    tuna sandwhich

Same critique as the previous tuna sandwich meal

    post workout:
    2scoops of whey

Fine, maybe add 1/2 cup of oats

    dinner:
    chicken breast+veggies+pita bread or rice+meats+veggies

good, but pita bread isn't a great choice

Also, add a meal right before bed - casein protein or cottage cheese, 1tbsp of natty PB

Diet needs alot of work man, suggestions above in bold. I wouldn't expect to see any gains from the diet as you have it. You need to figure out your caloric maintenance and then macros for each meal so you know what you're eating.

Red meat would be your best option, even over casein or cottage cheese. Make sure it's relatively lean - flank steak, flat iron, sirloin, 93% lean ground beef, etc. Do not eat the high fat (great tasting) marbled cuts such as T-Bone/Porterhouse, NY Strip, etc.
