Yeah I want to make chips out of yams in the oven and need a recipe.
Id also be open to some type of soufflee.
Ive tried to eat them baked potato style and just don't get anything out of it and find it to be a lot of prep time.

You can buy the sweet potatoes pre wrapped, ready to throw in the microwave for 5 mins for a perfect 'baked' potato. I then spray with 'I can't believe it's not butter' and sprinkle with cinnamon, very good!
For chips, you can simply cut your potato into chips (using a mandoline would be best) and toss in extra virgin olive oil. Lay out on a baking sheet in a single layer. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees, and bake for 20-25 mins (depends on how you like them). Sprinkle/toss with fresh sea salt and fresh ground black pepper.
