    Berries

So I am currently clean bulking and I want to throw some berries into my diet to get some of those phytonutrients and antioxidants that you just can't get from any other foods. I know that berries are relatively lower in sugar than other fruits, so my question is which types provide the most nutritional benefit with the least amount of sugars. So far I'm thinking blueberries, cherries or blackberries, maybe acai. I'm not sure if I can get acai though. Thanks for your help guys.

Cherries do not fall into this category, sorry! Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cranberries, and acai are all great. I'm not too sure about strawberries, but my gut instinct is that they're not as good a choice as the others i've listed.

Strawberries are great but not as good as blueberries, acai or goji. Cherries aren't a great antioxidant source BUT they're a natural diuretic and low GI - I've been scarfing them lately from a good local farm.

Don't forget about pomegranite either! I drank juice for the first time in ages the other day, get this. There's a pomegranite/cranberry juice made by ocean spray that's sweetened with splenda. 2g of sugar 10 cals per 8 oz. Pretty much all clean too.

I gotta check out that juice! How is the taste - can you taste that artificial 'splenda' chemical presence?

A little bit. I'd say it's as close as coke zero is to coke. Not as bad as aspartame but u can tell it's got no sugar - still, as clean as I eat it was a treat and I enjoyed every sip, haha.
