    yoghurt for keto refeed?

    Hey, guys. I was wondering if it is okay to eat yoghurt for a keto refeed? I was thinking of using it as a simple carb at the start of the refeed before I taper into complex carbs. Also, I know that sugar is unacceptable in keto (as for most diets), so is it okay to add raisins to my oats during the refeed, or is this a no no?

    I think yogurt is fine for the early part of the refeed, although you'd ideally want starchy white carbs like white potatoes, rice, pasta, etc. I don't think the yogurt will hurt though.

    For the oats, add some berries instead of raisins.

    Thanks, gbrice. I'll go for the berries, then. But, just out of curiosity, are the raisins a really bad choice? Or is it just that berries are a better option?

    Since you don't sound too sure if the yoghurt will hurt me or not, forgive me for asking other opinions on this just to be sure.....ANYONE ELSE??

    Raisins are just way high GI, that's all.

    Okay, but I thought high GI carbs were okay to START the keto carb refeed, then taper to lower GI, complex carbs? Is youghurt not high GI?

    Ideally higher GI starchy carbs - white potatoes, white pasta, white rice, etc.

    Thanks, but would this put yoghurt on the black list? Especially with all the sugars?
