since i saw the dave palumbo videos hawaiianpride posted ive been using waxy maize starch which is digested 3 times quicker than dextrose and it has large molecular properties - much easier on the stomach too.

Oats or sweet potato here. Understand that Dave suggests that only for diets that involve pre/post WO carbs ONLY. If you're eating a balanced diet with carbs as an energy source throughout the day, stick to complex. He also uses 15g of poly/mono fat in the pre-shake with the WM to slow digestion.
