Im getting fatter and fatter help

Fellas im 41 and my metabolism as dramatically slowed down. I havent been eating that bad. I havent been eating that clean. I have the discipline to eat clean and stick to a good nutrition plan, but i have been surprised and a little discouraged how difficult it is become to lose weight and the lose of muscle. My knees are shot so running is out of the question but i will suffer through cardio if it is my road to salvation. I have been working out for a long time and i am familiar with nutrition and chemicals, im just wondering if there are any new suggestion out there that i can use to restart my comeback. Im certain my way may have gotten a little stale. I guess im really dealing with the lose of mobility some real sore joints and a slowing metabolism. Im getting older and i intend to fight it every step of the way. Any input would be appreciated.

I feel your pain brutha. Post up your stats and current diet (be as accurate as possible or you're only cheating yourself!) including time of day for each meal, and macro info (protein/carbs/fat/total calories) for each. We'll help you sort it out. 9 times out of 10, diet is the problem. But while we're at it, i'd like to see your training regimen as well.
