    Pw Drink and cardio

I usually try not to do cardio after my workout. Usually do it in the am on an empty stomach or at some other random time. But every once in a while i don't have the time to get exercise to different times a day. My question is ithe times i do cardio after my workout shoul i drink my pw drink before or after cardio and is it better to do pace cardio or hiit right after training? currently on a cutting cycle

Depends on what your shake consists of. If it's just whey protein, I think it's fine to drink it after your workout and before cardio. If you do what I do and eat carbs as part of your PWO shake (I add oats to mine), you might want to consider dropping the oats.

I would do low-med intensity cardio, HR around 130bpm, but that's just me. HIIT is great too.

I definitely wouldn't take that shake before cardio.

Weights plus cardio straight after = Normal post workout meal WITH the carbs.

The carbs and sugar will go straight to the muscles, not overspill or interfere with fat-burning hormones.

If cardio only, protein shake only straight after followed by protein/carb meal 1.5 hr later.

There are plenty of people who will agree with you on this, and i'm not necessarily disagreeing 100% - however I think it depends on the goal.

If you are just doing cardio to maintain and are currently on a maintenance or diet to gain weight, then the above is fine. If fat loss is your primary goal, I would play it safe and not do carbs right after cardio - ESPECIALLY pure sugar like dextrose/maltodextrin. If you must have carbs, at least go with a complex carb such as oats or something along those lines. That's my personal rule of thumb for a cutting diet - PWO carbs always complex.

PS - is that you in your avy? If so, i'll shut up because you're a fvcking beast and obviously know what you're doing!
