    Carbs vs Fats

    Okay, so maybe I missed this somewhere. But, in regards to whether or not carbs or fat work better for your body (to bring up the calories), how do you guys suggest I go about "testing" what is better?

    Reminder : I'm 5'10", ~203lbs, ~20% BF (haven't checked recently). I've been trying to get upto about 3000-3500 calories, though the last few days haven't been great.

    Anyway, would be interested in knowing if I'd do better with carbs or fats.

    Fats have more calories per gm than carbs, but you should be able to get your calories mostly from carbs, try keep it under 100gms of fat per day

    What are your goals?

    I'm trying to build and bulk up. I'm obviously not the skinniest fella at the moment so trying to keep fat gain to a minimum - even better if I can lean up while building, though that's probably wishful thinking.

    Yeah, cutting is a scary thing, you think ur going to get smaller! but at the end of the day you are more happier with the results, then you can bulk!
