    Protein cycling

After running through my first period of highly planned carb cycling, I've been quite astonished by the amazing results that *continue* to take place...

Has anyone ever tried a similar system, only with protein cycling.. (In order to keep the body primed to make the most efficient usage of protein)

So with carb cycling you might follow an approach like

Low Carb No Carb Low Carb No Carb High Carb Low Carb

Then with protein cycling you would follow

High Prot Med Prot High Prot Med Prot Low Prot High Prot

obviously, the body does not *store* protein, but surely there would be a system of tricking a body which has had ample protein volumes at its disposal, into re-entering "survival mode" and in fear of starvation absorbing protein at a heightened level once more.. ?!

Sometimes i think of the most ridiculous things.. =/

I know what you are trying to propose, however i have read otherwise

If all you will be doing is increasing and decreasing protein intake this will not do what u are thinking it will

Priming is completly different and there are benefits of that

I would link u to the artice but i cannot find it ATM, its a Lyle McDonald artice tho

I don't think it's necessary, nor do I think it would be effective to any degree. I firmly believe a constant intake of protein each day is optimal.
