Question How much protein can the body process per meal

I've heard the body can only process 20 grams of protein per meal. Is this true? My protein shakes have 24 grams of protein per scoop and I usually use 2 scoops for 48 grams of protein plus milk protein. Is this a waste of the extra scoop?

How about when your on cycle ... How much more can the body process then??

Absolutely not true. There is no definitive answer, but somewhere in the range of 30-50g is generally accepted. I tend to believe it's on the higher end. Don't forget that protein isn't immediately absorbed and processed. Depending on the source, it can take quite a few hours. So as long as you are not going WAY overboard within a single day (upwards of 350-400g), you'll be fine.

Yes, protein can and should be increased during a cycle IMO.
