Anyone else use a high protein to bdy weight diet?

Considering the recommended is 1 to 1.5g protein per lb of bodyweight, does anyone use a 2.5-3g ratio? Some say that it's waste at that level but why do you all think?

I have gone as high as 400 grams per day at around 200lbs but only for a short time precontest and my other macros were really low. Really no need to go that high for any extended period of time.

I went 2-2.5 times on a cycle once. I noticed some extra body fat myself. I've been doing 1.5 lately and I prefer it

When I go high on the protein all that happens is that my sweat starts to smell like ammonia... Nothing else.

    So, I don't.

I always go by protein per lb of LBM, not total bodyweight. IMO this helps regulate protein intake and keeps it more realistic.

LOL, thats not cool dude. I do what gbrice does, no need for 2g per body weight. I would vomit my breakfast before I eat lunch.
