As long as the shake fits into your caloric goal, keep it. More cardio, not less food.

Tomorow makes 6 weeks since i startred my cut and i feel now like the fat is melting away i hope to be at taget in the next 2 weeks, right now my target is 12% BF. i would like to maintain 12% for a month or so then carb cycle for 6 weeks and get to 10% and then do a bulk cycle to put some mass back on. keep you posted

Ok go day I go to the gym and check my bf I weigh in at 185 and measure 14.3% bf which I'll take but I'm feeling a little confused, is it possible to lose bf and maintain weight I mean did I add lbm and drop bf? Because it's been like almost 2 weeks and I'm staying at 185 but last week I was 15.7 bf. What gives

Yeah, definitley possible to add LBM and loose fat. My training partners last cycle he stayed the same weight the whole time and dropped about 3-4% bodyfat

Update 6 and a half weeks in and weigh in this morning 182.albs and 13.6 bf% I'm thinking 180lbs gets me at 12% bf which I'm hopeing I would like to maintain that and like I mentioned in an earlier post carb cycle to 10% to gear up for a summer cycle. I'm looking forward to putting on lean mass I feel like I look like a 15 year old boy it's like where did all my muscle bulk go....very sad

help me calculate bmr/tdee and caloric need
182lbs 13.6 bf 5'8.5" currently cutting on 2000 cals on non training day and 2300 on training days. doing 45mins on the tread mill ed burning 450cals 1hr weight training su/tu/th/sat. im coming up with like 1800 off 2000 on but i stink at these formula thingsLast edited by MBMETC; 03-18-2011 at 07:12 AM.

I'm coming up with a TDEE of around 2300. You're doing EXACTLY what i'm doing - eating at maintenance on training days, and a few hundred below on non. If you want to drop calories by a little more you can, but if you're getting results now, well, you know what they say - if it ain't broke...

ok i've seemed to stall with weight loss this past week, granted i am coming off a mild back injury (moving an commercial size air compressor) a 3 day set back on cardio. but im back and hitting as hard as pre injury, it just seems like i can't break 182lbs and im afraid if i lower cals to 1800-1900 it might slow me down more. i need your guys input to help jump start the weight loss again

Finally 10% it only took 4 months an ass load of cardio, diet, training, will power and of coarse a nice cut cycle to finish it off..
now im gonna eat a pizza
Starting weight 195lbs 17.7 bf
