    hows this for a breakfast shake?

    2 cups fat free milk
    180 calories
    18 g protein
    26 g carbs
    0g fat

    1 cup quaker oat
    300 calorie
    10g protein
    54g carb
    6g fat

    ON whey
    220 caloriies
    48 g proein
    4 g carb
    2 g fat

    total=
    700 calorie
    76 g protein
    84 g carb
    8 g fat

    maybe add in a banana here and there. goal is to build muscle and cut bf%.
    this wouldnt be the only thing for breakfast everyday but some days when im in a hurry for work. whats your thoughts?

    If the goal is to cut bf% - you shouldn't be consuming all that milk because that's like 25g of sugar. Also, I don't think you should be eating 700 calorie meals in general. Oats, whey, good to go. Don't bother with the banana.

    I'd rather see 1 scoop of whey and the other 24g protein coming from a whole egg and a few whites. Real food > shakes. But if the issue is time, I understand.

    Other then that, I agree with everything Damien said. If you find it too thin with water, wean yourself off the milk and start with 1 cup milk, 1 cup water. However, with the oats blended in it should be pretty thick... so man up and use water! =P

    Well said, I agree with "D" you shouldn't be eating a 700 calorie meal, either you will not be burning enough calories before the next meal this is weight gain not weight loss. Of course if you are 18 years old and in high school sports then omit the following. ( but still 700 calories is a bad idea and habit)
