Trying to be independent and need help

I still live with mummy and daddy and have all my meals cooked for me etc... But.... Now I've hit 25 I think it's time for me to stand on my own 2 feet...

    What I wanna know is,

How long do u leave ur food in fridge?

Eg. If mummy cooks rice on Sunday night, any left overs would be chucked out by latest Tuesday, but I see ppl here cooking 1 week in advance...

Same with chicken, meat etc. This wud b chucked out next day

Cheers guys, sorry for sounding a baby lol

chicken, if its cooked (ie a casserol, stir fry) i would eat still after 3 maybe 4 days in fridge

if its uncooked, i would only leave in the fridge 3 -4 days also before i cooked and ate it.

2 to 4 days maybe longer depending on ehat it is, cooked meats 3-4 days-raw veggies raw or cooked 5 days- sweet potatoe 5 days you get the idea. you'll now when something isn't right by looking at it and smelling it..lol

I always store my meat separate from everything else, and try to cook Sundays and Wednesdays as well, that way if I want to change it up I can, rather than cooking for the whole week. Plus this gives me time to decide what to cook for the weekend.

It was Sunday and Wednesday for me, now it's just Sunday. It's not bad a week later, although i'd prefer it fresher. I just mic the sh!t out of it and slam it down!
