If I take Orlistat, does that mean I can eat a mac Jo whenever I want?
Orlistat causes dietary fats to be incapable of being digested or absorbed by the digestive system and sends them out of the body on the fast track causing cramping and diarrhea.
IMHO completely unhealthy. Self-discipline and will power > orlistat.
Ah, must be the same as Ally or whatever. It's really pointless in my opinion because
A) If you eat a meal high in dietary fat it'll make you blow it out your ass almost instantly, causing none of the nutrition it came with to be absorbed either. So how's that really any different than just being bulimic?
B) If you have the willpower to eat a low-fat diet in the first place, it does nothing.
Fair comment, I will pass on Orlistat.
Agreed with these guys. Even if it weren't bad for you, what would it really accomplish? Would you eat high fat diets and take this for the rest of your life? Doubtful. So we can agree that there is really no fast fix, just discipline.
