Post workout cardio, shake or meal?

I know there's a ton of threads on this but the more I read the more I find they're conflicting because different people have different goals.

I'm naturally bulking right now and just want to keep the belly down until I start cutting in spring. So what should my PWO consumption be after morning cardio? Should I go with the protein/dextrose shake or can I just go straight to my solid breakfast of egg whites and oatmeal?

If I'm cutting can I go with the solid meal post cardio as well?

    thanks

or should I go with a solid pro/fat meal immediately after cardio and then a solid pro/carb meal?

if you're doing fasted cardio in the AM and cutting I'd go solid food protien and comlex carbs over the next two meals and make your protien/fat meal the third meal of the day. So egg whites and Oats. If you're looking to bulk and still do the cardio in the am, I'd do a quick shot of whey before cardio and a solid protien/carb meal after.

I think either pro/fat or pro/carb would be fine, however since this is fasted cardio (right?) I would opt ofr pro/carb to 'get things working'. You will have already burned whatever you were going to burn during cardio, so don't worry much about the 'afterburn' being ruined by carbs.
