what can i use to replace the dairy im cutting out?

So ive been looking and it def seems that dairy is a terrible thing to be eating. I think thats the last major problem im having with my diet.. I drink a sh!t ton of 1% low fat milk.. Now i guess its time to stop it. what would be a good thing to replace it with? i mean, i def get alot of calories and protein from it. what else can compare to 100 cals per cup and 8g protein per cup? as of right now my diet pretty much consists of brown rice, chicken breast, natural PB, almonds, steak, oats, kidney beans, whey protein, cottage cheese, veggies, deli turkey breast and some wheat bread ( i know, that sucks too but the milk is the biggest hurdle at the moment. I dont eat alot of the bread to make it an issue).all that and a lot of milk. Some good subsititution idea would be awesome. also, any other ideas for good foods to add in is welcome too.lol. thanks u all..

    What are ur goals

Milk is excellent at re-hydrating u after a workout so if ur gaining i would keep it in there PWO

If ur cutting just cut it out and replace the lost calories with more oats and chicken breast

i am def not trying to cut although i prob could use it.. im basically trying to gain some good size but try to lose alittle more in my stomach. i used to be 240lbs and im 5'11.. and i never went to the gym so it was all fat. then i lost alot of weight and went to 180, now back to about 200 after being in the gym the last couple years. so just trying to continue to gain some mass and and cut out the ass lol. most troubled area is my gut.. the diet i have above has only been in effect for about a month now and its def doing wonders. i nevere really focused alot on diet but now im trying to get at it pretty good.

No gainers. Whatever you remove in dairy should go to complex carbs, rather than the lactose sugar. Granted the milk does have some protein but you should already be getting all you need from your lean meat and shakes.

Ugh, no offense but this is the worst advice i've seen in a while... on a board where we try and sway people away from weight gainers and more towards real/whole natural foods....

Firstly, i'm an idiot because I said it was bad 'advice' when you are the OP!!! I didn't realize you were just making another suggestion, lol!

The rule of thumb is to do your best to eat as much real food as possible. Quality lean proteins - i.e. egg whites, lean beef, chicken, turkey, fish, etc.
