Pork chops? yes or no
Well yesterday i bought some pork chops(on sale) and baked em with a honey glaze. Anyways i know this isn't the best protein source but they looked pretty lean. It was a nice change from my usual chicken, fish, steak. How bad are pork chops? Would you guys consider this a cheat meal?

I'm probably going to be in the minority, but I'd say that the pork chops themselves aren't so bad. The honey glaze on the other hand is possibly the problem.

I've always shy'd away from them, but I know Nark is a huge pork eater (I believe he eats pork daily) and look at his body... based on that alone i'd say it's ok. That said, I would stick with the absolute leanest cuts you can get, i.e. center cut/loin as mentioned above.

I have them once a week with no glaze just in a pan with a little olive oil and sprinkle pepper and very little adobo seasoning. (make sure to trim the fat off it first)

Nothing wrong with pork. I just find that if you want a fatty protein source, fatty cuts of steak/lamb are a way better option and if you want a lean protein source, chicken breast and fish tends to be more efficient - so pork does get left behind.

I just bought a bunch from Costco. I trimmed all visible fat away, and will be grilling them up tonight for the week. Mmmm!!
