    Diet macros question

    Stats:
    Age 26
    Ht: 5'11"
    Wt: 227lbs
    Bf%: 16.4%
    Lifting seriously for 8+ years
    No health issues (diabetes, high bp etc. etc.)

    So here's my question which haven't been able to find answers to; I am considering a cycle later this year when I feel comfortable with what I know and where to find answers to things I don't know. First off though I need my diet in check and was wondering about macros....I've read a lot here and elsewhere about different diet plans for both bulking and cutting, and while they all seem to be great for the person who used it, each of us are different and curious as to if there are any rules for the amount of carbs/fats/proteins to portion based on a person's body size/composition? Or is it just general guidelines to follow when bulking and cutting with tweaks up/down?

    i agree, read the bulking diet staple thread. will help u out. for protein i go 1.5g per ib bw, carbs i got 2x protein (im 174ibs so get about 250g protein, 500g carbs for 2:1 ratio) and fat i get 10% of my target calories from fat. my target is 4k calories so i get about 50g fat. post ur diet if u like for ppl 2 critique

    Ok, thanks for the quick replies. I'll check out that thread and get to work building this diet.
