    Sugar/carbs before bed

Guys the past couple days, weeks, lol, been slacking on my diet and eating whatever I wanted. Especially at night.

I wake up with horrible uneasy feeling. Feel like I haven't slept. Coffee just seems to make me feel shittier.

Is that typical for eating too much sugar before bed. It takes until the afternoon until I feel better.

I would guess that you have a sensitivity to a particular food item, if its just one or a few things that make you feel sick in the morning.

the only things that should be eaten before bed is beef ( of some sort ) cottage cheese, or casein protein......if I have that sugar craving ( which happens a lot ) Ill have a tbsp of natty pb and this does the trick...

Stay away from sugary carbs especially before bed. Simple carbs can and will give you a lift but they will drop you back down a few minutes later. Having excessive sugary carbs will play havoc with your insulin metabolism and can transport you to fatigue and fat storage. Why eat something what isnt going to aid any muscle building and if its making you feel awful for the rest of the day stay away!!

Just an update. Felt like a million bucks this morning when I got up. No anxiety, no uneasiness. Last meal was 3 hours before bed last night.

Coffee gave me my usual pick me up.

I know what I should eat but I just decided to let loose a little bit. I'll give it a few days and see if I find a pattern.

Gotta let loose sometimes. Had 2 surgeries in less than a month. But point in case 120g of pure sugar and trying to sleep is bad.
