Why am I so hungry??? Should i be worried?
I have been cutting for the past 4 months at 1,900 cals. My tdee is 2100-2200. I have started a clean bulk this past week, and my daily caloric intake is roughly 3,500 calories............and I STILL find myself hungry! I just got done eating a 7 oz. steak and 140g. (measured dry) brown rice, and I could probably eat another half portion!! My diet is very clean, but should I be worried about fat gain? Why am I so hungry? My only thought is that my body is just really happy to be eating at a surplus again lol!!.

Don't get too worried. I was also eating at 1900 calories and didn't feel overly hungry during that time. As I bumped up calories, I noticed the more I ate the hungrier I felt. I believe it's simply a highly stimulated metabolism reacting to the surplus.
How long have you been eating 3500 calories? I would give it a little time and allow your body to adjust. As for fat gain, all you can do is monitor closely, pay attention to a combination of the scale, your measurements, how your clothes fit, and how you look in the mirror. Obviously if you can get a caliper reading every 2 weeks that would be ideal.

Okay, thanks gbrice. I've only been at 3,500 cals for just under a week now. I think I'll keep it there and see how it goes. I don't mind putting on a very small amount of fat over the next year; my goal is just to grow as much as possible (but not in the stomach area lol!).
