Natty Peanut Butter Question
I didn't do my homework and had been using RF PB. Thankfully, I read some post and threw that $hit in the trash and went to get some good natty PB.
I found a good one, weird brand, fairly expensive, only ingredient is peanuts. I also found one in Skippy brand that says it's natural but the ingredients are peanuts and palm oil. No mention of 'partially hydrogenated' and nutritionally identical to the other stuff with the exception of one less gram of protein. Also comes in a larger jar and costs about half as much.
When I got home, I opened the jar and it was solid. No oil separation. This has to be bad. If there is one thing I will never forget now, it is 'don't eat solid fats'.
Ill probably just end up taking it back and trading it out for the other stuff but I wanted to get y'alls thoughts.

I love the Skippy Natural taste, but it's not 'proper' Natty PB. Look for Smuckers, it's really good. You should be looking for ingredients to be: Peanuts, salt (maybe). That's it!

Check your local health food stores boys!
Many have grinders for organic nut butters. Not only is it a far better product than even say, Organic Smucker's, but it's going to be cheaper as nobody had to package, label, and distribute it to the same extent. You can even bring your own jar and just refill every week.

Smuckers for the win!

It sounds like I need to give the Smuckers a go. Uncrustables are wicked awesome so their natty PB has to be good. I went by Whole Foods yesterday and they have every single nut on earth made into butter and it's a descent price. Is almond better than peanut? Cashew? Pecan?

I think they're all pretty equal, arguing which is better would just be splitting hairs IMO. Yea, uncrustables are great but needless to say stay away from them lol!
Getting the nuts grinded down into fresh nut butter is the absolute best way to go.
