    PWO shake during workout?

    Should the PWO shake only be drank right after a workout or can you start drinking it like towards the middle of workout and then on when you are fairly fatigued?

    Nothing wrong with taking protein intra-workout. That said, i'd prefer to sip on BCAA's and save my real shake for PWO.

    I don't know to what extent, but drinking your shake will require blood in your digestive system and during your workout you'd want it in your muscles. Overall I'm sure the difference as far as results obtained from doing one or the other is negligible, but it's some food for thought.

    Well the reason I ask is because sometimes towards the end of my workouts, I'm so exhausted that chugging my PWO might cause me to get sick. But as I get in better shape and adjust to my diet, I'm sure that will go away.
