Question on cups, half cups etc
Ok this may go down in stupid question of the year but what the hell.
Sometimes i dont get when people say add a half a cup of oats or eat half a cup of green beans, as in i dont get the measurements. I still eat them but i wanna get it completely right for my cut.
How much is half a cup, is it a cup as in you drink tea out of, or the scooper you are given with the oats?
God i feel stupid lol

A Cup is a measurment used in cooking, ask your mum, sister, girlfriend. Go to the supermarket and you will find.

Measurment cups are much smaller then the normal drinking glass. Go to your local store and you will find them in the kitchen supply

Oats, rice, etc are dry measure - 1 cup is simply a measurement - typically you'll find 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 cup 'scoopers'.

I am a fellow UK member so i can explain
In america they measure some things by volume and not weight
A cup is a standard size, you can buy a set of cup measures from most supermarkets m8
