Realistically, how quickly could one drop 20lbs?
Hey diet people, got a question. Usually I do my own diet plans for leaning out going into spring but Im way behind starting it.
My question is, when doing it very strictly, how quickly could one drop 20lbs? And Im not talking easy weight, like being @ 30% BF and dropping 20lbs, I mean the last 20lbs to try and get well into the single digit bf% (7-8ish). Im about 16-17lbs too heavy right now in repsect to getting back into single digits.
Any help would be great.

i've cut 13lbs and 4% in 6 weeks so im thinking 20lbs can be achieved in 8-10 weeks but you may sacrifice muscle in the process

currently eating around 200-300 calories under maintenance +t3+ECA I've cut a about 7lbs in 3 weeks, at that pace i guess it could possibly be done in 9 weeks, but I'm pretty sure the the fat loss will slow down and i'll have to cut another 100 calories or up the cardio another 60 minutes a week. But thats also starting at about 18%bf. U have a cutting diet aready in place?
GBbrice's last cut was 20lbs+ i believe. He'd be a good one to ask. I'm sure he coulda done it faster if he stopped falling off the wagon haha. Sorry to call ya out GB, nothing but respect for ya bro

Rule of thumb, 2lbs per fat a week maximum, if your diet is totally dialed and you are doing max cardio.

Need to know your full stats for sure. Then we can figure out how much actual fat (in lbs.) you'd need to lose to reach say 10% (we gotta be realistic here, right?). From there, i'd reassess anyway.
I've seen your pics, you have alot of LBM and it'd be a shame to lose any significant amount by cutting too fast. If I had the choice to reach 10% with as little LBM loss as possible, or say 8% with no concern with regards to LBM, i'd take the former any day of the week.

I dont mind losing the little bit of muscle. I know when I hard cut 2 summers ago I lost about 4lbs LBM dropping 9lbs in 16days... wont do that again.
Ive done the math, I need to lose 18lbs to hit 8% if I dont lose too much muscle. Its not like muscle loss will be too significant that it would throw off bodycomp #'s.
I will get a comp done this weekend so we have accurate current numbers.

I would say 2 months or less unless you are looking for competition shape (assuming your pics look like I remember them). It takes serious cardio and diet though. On or off cycle?
