    Milk - Your opinion?

What is everyones take on milk?

Currently I probably drink around 1.2L a day atm on my bulk and apparently milk is not good for you and can raise estrogen levels etc.

Don't know if thats broscience or not.

How much do you guys consume and is it good/bad?

Here is a video. I'm thinking strong broscience.

I believe it depends on the individual, and the goal at hand. Some people can't handle dairy. They get bloated, hold alot of water, and have gastrointenstinal problems. Others handle it just fine.

On a cut, I would stick with skim and limit it pretty tight - I don't drink any at all. On a bulk, i'd do skim or 1% at the most, and would still keep my intake limited, but maybe not as much as on a cut.

Milk is good when not cutting. But lets face it...lactose is still a sugar and will used as such just like all others. And, if you are trying to cut on it...milk tends to give a "soft" look to the skin hindering the definition of muscle underneath.

If your not cutting....milk is a good source of energy (not necessarily just as a pro source). I would stick to skim or 1% if skim can't be handled.

I myself after years of cutting milk for periods at a time have issues digesting the sugar.....and I use sparingly.

Great point - I forgot to mention the most important thing which is that it contains alot of sugar, which should always be limited regardless of the goal at hand IMO.

    Thanks Scotty, great catch!

ME TOO! 2 scoops of Myofusion in 2 cups skim milk - MONEY!!!

Check out the coconut milk that Damien is always talking about. I can't remember the name, but he'll probably see this thread and chime in - I know he loves the ongoing milk debate!
