Transformation Pictures...
Attached is my current transformation;
29yo
5'10"
Pic 1: 226lbs
Pic 2: 205lbs
Pic 3: 198.5lbs
Please take your best guess as to the BF. I'm currently cutting and am very happy with the results. You might think that picture 2 and 3 are very similiar, but I will tell you for a fact I feel like a different person as I'm running 5K and 10K road races on the weekends. My goal is to get under 10% BF (180lbs?), as I've never gotten past 15% in my life. We shall see.
I just want to thank everyone on this board as I've been a LONG time lurker, and don't post very much. I've gotten all of my diet tips from you all and couldn't have done it without all of you.
Thanks.

You are right, I cant see a difference in pics 2-3. I would say you are mid 20's%. To hit 10% you are going to be under 170lbs, guaranteed. Nice work overall though so far.

^^ Yeah. There is a change in size when I really scrutinize and I see more tone in your neck/traps but not really overall shape.
Good that you've cut down a lot so far but I think he's right that you'll be 155-160 at your current LBM for that goal.
If you're 100% confident in your diet and workout; that's great. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend you post up both and we can try to optimize your whole process.

Great job so far, huge difference between pic 1 and the other 2... and looks like you have a good little muscle base underneath. Pic 2 looks the best to me, i'm sure it's to do with your color and the lighting. Everybody looks better with a tan.
I wouldn't go as far as to say high 20's - i'm going with 23-25%.
Keep it up, you're doing great!

I should have taken more pictues of my body and flex for you. The difference between 2 and 3 is that the fat is breaking down (i made a previous thread about soft vs hard fat), and its an unreal feeling. I've been overweight my entire life (well, not like picture 1, i played tennis in college) and its taken a while for that fat to break down. I agree that I need to get down to 170ish to get to 10%. I'm on my way.
i'm confident in my diet and workout - its a lifestyle thing that i can maintain the rest of my life. I'm averaging 1.5lbs a week loss and have a rigorous workout schedule with my trainer. I do my fasted cardio in the AM 2x a week, bootcamps 2x a week, running 3x a week (including 5k/10k races on weekends) and hit the gym for circuit/strength training 2-3x a week. Just need to be consistant.
thank you.
next picture (190), i'll shave and be tan and you'll be able to see the muscle underneath - i got a ton of it. always been a broad guy, i carry my fat around my stomach obviously. i have very little fat on my arms, legs, back; but you can't tell from a frontal unflexed photo. sorry about that.
thank you!Last edited by cmdace18; 03-21-2011 at 07:00 AM.
