Trying to figure this out!
Iv been doing a keto diet but feel like crap but have gotten great weight loss.... now i want to change it up a little bit.... something more simple
So i was reading about BMR dieting.. okay so my BMR is 2086..... so if i add my activity level as such to my BMR 2086 + 600(cal)... that gives me a 2686 which is my maintain caloric intake right?
So if i eat 500 calories less... and workout 5 days a week.... will i lose LBM this way and how long would you say it would take to lose 6-7% body fat?

Based on what I see hartman's posted above; I think you should stick with keto a little longer. You feel like crap because it can take a full 7 days to establish a strong ketosis. Also, most people don't know how to run a keto diet properly and never actually achieve the diet's intended results, they just lose 10 lbs of water.
Usually I don't advocate keto for inexperienced dieters but I also don't advise jumping ship on a diet before understanding/realizing it's potential.

So the question that begs to be answered is... what HAVE you been eating if it hasn't been carbs and hardly any fats? No wonder you feel like crap. Your body can't survive on protein alone... actually, I take that back - it can - by converting dietary protein into energy (not an efficient or desired process) and breaking down muscle to use as energy (catabolic) - anybody in that state would feel like complete crap.
Your problem is simple, you need energy.
