- 6 DAYS OFF CARBS/1 DAY ON CARBS
doin keto if im high bf%, like 12-13%. when i get lower % i carb up more often like every 3 or 4 days or switch to 100-150g carbs everyday.
personally i like to do fast cut with high calorie deficit.
if i decide to put on more mass, ill have carbs with every solid meal can be white rice, potato or what ever i have. also doing like this when just maintaining.

For cutting - carbs at 1st meal, pre WO and PWO only.
Maintenance/Gain - carbs at every meal except before bed

^^^^^^ totally agree, just fine tune the total daily calories to your particular needs, and then decrease carbs in grams to suit also, thinking about having a measured high carb day E4D ie double
My low carbs days, just an experiment.

It really comes down to the individual and how much cardio you are willing to do. Except for the last few days my entire precontest diet last year was over 300 grams of carbs every day, yes, even in the before bed meal. I was still able to get in contest shape but I was also doing quite a bit of cardio. Little different approach this year, less carbs, less cardio and liking the results and schedule better.

Im going to come out and say that carb choice is NOT the most important thing to consider...
Carb timing and Amount of carbs are by far more important than the carbs you eat....
Obviously im not suggesting you eat sweets and pop
Oats
Sweet potato
Rice
I think there is a time where 'insulin spiking' is important while dieting... This time would be pre-workout (resistance training), to blunt the release of cortisol while training...
I think a decent High GI carb choice here (white rice, baked potato etc...) with a good LEAN protein source is a great pre-workout meal for the above reason...
I will stress that this meal should be LOW FAT...
