    PWO carbs while cutting

the only time i can do cardio is right after working out. i usually just have a protein shake and drink xtend while on the treadmill but where could i fit the carbs in? i want to keep my glycogen levels low but also preserve as much muscle as possible.

would it be a bad idea to drink some dextrose or waxy maize before doing cardio?

Yes, that would be a bad idea.

i don't know man. I usually like to rest after a workout. When I'm short on time, I can do cardio at work during lunch, or at night before bed. after a vigorous workout, I need my PWO shake, and my blast of honey, which would be contrary to what you want to do right before cardio.

If you are doing your PWO cardio for fat burning purposes the last thing you want is to raise your insuling levels. If you are doing the cardio just for the cardiovascular benefits then go ahead and eat.
