Just not hungry..:(
Hi,
I am wondering about my diet. Im not following a super strict diet but found I'm just not hungry. I have been turning to protein shakes to at least get some calories in me. Dont get me wrong I do eat but not enough during the day. I am currently taking 5mg anavar a day as well ae Eq once a week. I thought Eq was supposed to increase your appetite?? Any advice or similar experiences?? I know I should be turning to real food but just cant stand the thought of food sometimes...maybe I'm just bored with the same old food??

What makes me hungry? Eating! What makes me not hungry? Not eating! When I carb cycle my appetite is much more under control on low carb/low calorie days. My high carb day only makes me hungrier. My advice, eat and it will spur your appetite.

i agree with fireguy, eat more and you will be hungrier. also, what is your workouts like? maybe you are not pushing yourself hard enough to get that hunger that you so desire.

x3. Start eating and your body will adjust. I'm not saying force feed yourself until you vomit, but man up and eat as much as you can (within your caloric range of course).
I'm more concerned with you being on Anavar and EQ when it doesn't sound like you really have things dialed in... how old are you and what are your stats?

Not snacking, of course, but eating good stuff every three hours. I'm hungry every two hours when I'm on. Also what is your water intake like?

Maybe you could post what you eat in a typical day. Maybe you're eating enough, maybe your not.

Wow...you guys are too funny...LMFAO!!!!
Ok well I'm actually on 20mg of Anavar ...oops!!
Im 35-135 pounds-5 feet 3 inches tall. Unknown body fat %..Ill have to get pics going soon.
Im almost scared to post what I eat. Well lets see, cereal and a shake in the morning then its down hill from there...I will go for hours and not eat then sometimes Ill have a steak dinner with salad and a carb then snack all night on yoghurt, fruit, and yes I guess junk food. HHmmm...this isnt sounding to good. I pretty much drink about 3 shakes a day just to get something into me. Its weird I just dont care to eat. I will try though going back on my diet my personel trainers set up for me. It was a great diet...ate 7 times a day. It was hard to eat at frirst but the more I did eat the more hungrier I got (You are right on that one Fireguy). I would go to my doctor but the last thing I need is for him to know Im on steroids ...dont think he will takr this to well. I also do work very hard at the gym with the BF. He pushes me pretty hard as he is on steroids himself and has been for a number of years.
Thank you all for your input...its been great learning about all this stuff and I will continute to move along. BTW Kawigirl...you look amazing!!! The body I would kill for!!

I think with regular meal plans the appetite will come. I think you will find your biggest weight loss hurdle is your lack of food prep and food structure. The people who you want to look like don't eat when they feel like it or eat whatever they have handy. For the most part they are eating every 2-3 hours and they know exactly what they are going to eat every meal and when they are going to eat it. Keep at it and the structure and meal prep will become part of your life.

Yep. It's a big part. Abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym.

Firstly, thanks for your honesty. Some women are shy about posting stats but still expect us to be able to help them.
Food choices definitely need to be sorted out, but it seems to me that you first need to set a consistent schedule. Even if you're not eating 7 times a day right off the bat, we need to get you away from the whole "I will go for hours and not eat then...." mindset. Consistency is key. As for food choices:
Proteins: Boneless skinless chicken breast, turkey breast (not cold cuts), white fish (tilapia, flounder, etc), protein powders (when appropriate; I rely on whole food as much as possible), egg whites, etc
Complex Carbs: Oats, sweet potato, yam, quinoa, lentils, beans, cous cous, brown/basmati rice, etc
Healthy Fats: Nuts, nut butters, oils (olive, macadamia, coconut, etc), avacado, fish oils (excellent), etc
Protein/Fat combos: Oily fish (salmon, bluefish, etc), lean ground beef (I like 95/5 or better), lean steak cuts (sirloin, flank), bison, whole eggs
Fiberous Veggies: Leafy greens (not iceberg lettuce!), kale, spinach, collard greens, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, asparagus, brussell sprouts, etc
Your diet should consist of quality meals from the choices above (not that these are the ONLY choices). Protein source in every meal, accompanied by either a complex carb (I like to eat these around my workout, pre/post, as well as first meal in the morning) or healthy fat. The fiberous veggies can pretty much be eaten all the time, have as much as you want. The more the better!
I hope this helps. If you can propose a new diet/schedule with the above choices, I can help you sort it out.

Regularity is a basic role of the any programs... Nothing can be done without the regularity..... As the famous saying is slow and steady wins the race...

As a female...when eating clean...ensure you take extra supplements.....a multvitamin and perhaps extra calcium as well with vitamin D....they're both needed together for transportation.
And, as a woman...limit the intake of canned tuna.
