    Flu & LBM

So unlucky me, despite taking Vit C like crazy managed to catch the Flu due to being in a bacterial infestation that is University. I haven't been able to eat for the past two days, I tried force feeding myself but that just made it worse. Already lost 4.6 lbs. Is this all LBM or water weight or fat or a combination of the 3 ? Pizza use to be my get-better food (in moderation - 2 slices) but that's sortof out of the question. To make it worse, the gym i go to closed yesterday and won't re-open for another 3 days which means I missed working legs & shoulders & delts this week. I'm certainly not letting a virus thwart my goals and I realize none of you are doctors but what is the correct course of action to take ? I've done fasted cardio (if you even wanna call it that) the past two days which sortof was alright. I also couldn't even take creatine, even with strictly water. Should I go from 5g to 10g a day when I recover to compensate or no ?

    Thoughts ?

Just rest and take your meds. If you can't eat, I wouldn't even think about training. If you go in and lift heavy but have no anabolic food for fuel, you're just going to put yourself in a catabolic state anyway. Once you're better, just get back on track and pick up where you left off. Even if you're not eating for a few days, I doubt you'll lose much, if any, lbm. You didn't gain that muscle in a few days and you won't lose it that quickly either. The weight is most likely water. You may find that you are a bit weaker in the gym when you get back, but I'm sure it will come back within a week or so.
