Hi there, I usually drink water in the morning with vitamin c tablet that disolves in water and wondered if its ok for me to do this in morning, or does it cause insulin spike and should avoid?
Cheers.

Anyone? I thought this was a valid question since when I posted my old diet for you guys to critique, you helped me sort it out and change it into a good cutting diet, and one of the things you told me to do was to stop eating pineapple which is vitamin C.
What are the ingredients on the package? My guess is no. Probably something like sucralose which would be like drinking a glass of crystal light
It will not spike your insulin unless there are simple sugars in it, and I doubt there would be any.
Your concern should be drinking it on an empty stomach here, not the insulin spike.
Do not take vitamins on an empty stomach, you will eventually hurt yourself.
I'm guessing it's 1g per tab in the form of ascorbic acid?
Most of the dissolvables contain artificial sweeteners such as sucralose and sorbitol
Nothing to worry about
Ok thanks for clearing up that question for me. But when you said "my concern should be eating it on an empty stomach", so if I wake up in morning and have it with breakfast, thats still bad? I have egg whites and oats in morning, so was drinking vitamin c with that? still bad? Should I hold off and drink it after dinner?
Cheers for your replies.
Only a concern if it's the alkaline form of vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbate)
